There I was, minding my own business, when Pete IM’s me with a link to this ‘You are a Pirate’ flash.  It was interesting and amusing, but hilarious when I learned that the song came from a children’s show.  It was so over-the-top and nonsensical, I HAD to see the original.  So I went on YouTube and looked up ‘Lazy Town You Are A Pirate.’

It was even weirder than the flash.  So I reccomend looking it up, its definitely strange.

Anyhow, pirates aside, I begin to look over the rest of the site (www.4chan.org), which is basically an image and flash board.  Pete said it the best when he described 4chan as ‘A raging maelstrom of raw internet.’

Truer words were never spoken.

There’s some very good stuff there, and some pretty disturbing stuff.  There’s even a couple flash games that aren’t too bad.  My only complaint is that there’s only one page of flash links.  Meaning that when the page fills up, the old flashes are discarded.  This happens very quickly, sometimes in a matter of hours.  So a flash I enjoy today may not be there tomorrow.

One in particular I enjoyed was a flash about waffles (its already defunct, else I’d link it), who’s animation and lyrics repeat themselves in my head.

Do you like waffles?
Yeah we like waffles!
Do you like pancakes?
Yeah we like pancakes!
Do you like french toast?
Yeah we like french toast!
Can’t wait to get a mouthful, waffles!
Waffles!
Waffles!

*ahem*  I do, in fact, like waffles.  So, do YOU like waffles?
