Anyone else remember that game?
Damn that was good times.
Anyhow, I fixed a printer on the fourteenth floor today, then walked to the elevator bank to return to my desk on the eleventh floor. I walk into the elevator, and the doors close.

BOOM-CLANG!!
The whole elevator shakes, nearly knocking me off my feet, then is silent. Nothing is moving, nothing is happening. My legs are shaking, and I consider laying on the floor to distribute my weight for when I fall (according to my ‘Worst-Case Scenario’ handbook and Myrhbusters, its the best way to survive an elevator crash). I see that big red ‘alarm’ button and consider pushing it. Then I hear, “Beep.”
I’m on the twelfth floor now, even though I didn’t feel anything move. I hit the ‘open’ button, and to my relief, it opens, and I run out into the hall. A few people began to board the elevator.
“I wouldn’t, it was shaking and stalling.” I speak up.
“Oh, okay,” they didn’t seem particularly alarmed. Nor did the receptionist when I asked her to call facilites about the elevator.
Strange.
Later on in the day, I ate an ostrich burger.
It was good.
Zel-kun out.

On the plus side, if those people had heeded your warning, and then the elevator fell, according to Chinese proverb, you would have been responsible for them thereafter.
Hmmmmm.
